BBC world service 906
 

Not a huge problem but a couple of the radio channels on my V6 boxes have been displaying the channel not available notice V53 fault code since Tuesday.

Customer services have said there must be a fault so sent an engineer out, the engineer said he doesn't know what is wrong and can't solve the problem.

Has anyone else particularly in Staffordshire have this fault?

I know what's wrong, and can get it fixed. Please can you let me know which other channels are affected apart from 906?

I take it you're in Stoke/Newcastle rather than Stafford/Stone/Rugeley/Lichfield/Cannock? (There are two networks in Staffordshire).

Also if anyone in Manchester/Bolton/Wirral/Warrington/Macclesfield/Stockport/Oldham/Rochdale/Burnley/Blackburn or Hayes/Slough/Maidenhead is reading this, please can you check the radio channels and make sure they work OK?

Hi spiderplant yes I'm area 20 Newcastle. 906 would service is one and radio 4 LW is another. I'm not in at the moment but can get you full list when I am home if required.

It's the result of engineering work that happened during the week. The channels aren't being passed through the Manchester headend. Should be easy enough to fix.

Hopefully it can be fixed quickly for those affected. It took 7 months for RTE radio to be restored on my box :shocked:

Not sure if it was the same issue though.
