Attenuator
I had loss of signal on a tivo box, and on a hunch removed the attenuator, after which signal was ok.
But dodgy picture - lines, lumps, etc. Is there a knack to fitting attenuators? They seem ‘obvious’ but I want to get it right! Otherwise I’ll buy a new one (easier than phoning Virgin). Ta. Allen |

Re: Attenuator
It's easy to fit an attenuator, but without a signal meter you won't know which type you need - there are lots of them. Call Virgin. They will do some remote checks and send a technician if you need one.

Re: Attenuator
It’s the attenuator that VM fitted a few years ago.
Can they fail? |
