What they want is us in the west attacking ALL Muslims..I say let's not go down that road.

My gut feeling was the same and part of me still feels that way.
Against this, if other potential terrorists feel they will be shot and quickly die and go to Heaven, they may be more likely to undertake similar atrocities.

The other thing is that if they go via the courts and into prison then their visions of honour/war/martyrdom must clash unfavourably with a process that treats them as the murderers they are.
