No sound from the optical audio output
 

I have just brought a soundbar and have connected it to my Tivo box via the optical audio output. Now all channels work ok except the BBC HD channels where I get no sound at all. Is this just a problem on my box or are they all the same?:confused:

Sounds like your soundbar doesn't understand 5.1 surround sound, try going into the settings menu of the tivo and change the audio settings to PCM
