Maybe something Uk postal service do

Of the many sites i go to one in particular posted a link to a site in the us that scans your mail and lets you know if they contain any images before they are delivered to your inbox.

I think you need to read what it actually is again.

The USPS service merely emails you a B&W picture of the package being delivered to you mailbox (US term for letterbox).
