Fun TV & Vivid 100 broadband

£30 a month for 24 months (price guarantee) then £55 a month with a minimum 12 month contract
Curiously, no line rental required

So 'Fun TV' - comedy central,Discovery, National Geographic, Nick Jr & Cartoon Network plus a brilliant (their words) selection of our Sky favourites.
FTA players: iPlayer, All4,Sky on demand
TV Anywhere
TiVo box
Catch up & On Demand

Vivid 100 Broadband
Not sure what's vivid about it. Obvs 100Mbps broadband.

I can't say i'm tempted but not having to have a phone line is at least welcome as every other offer has demanded a phone line I really don't want or need.

Anyway thought I'd share.

Anyone else had this offer?

Interesting that there is no requirement to take a phone line.

There was an offer recently, Richard, not as above, but it was an offer for 50 Mb BB for £18 per month and no phone line required, so once again the long standing loyal customer is getting royally rogered by Virgin, in respect that we pay top whack, and we need to have that dreaded phone line, so to sum up, Virgin can do what the hell they like, and the rest of us can either like it or lump it, or leave for that matter, but they don't seem to care!

I installed 3 of these offers this week. All 3 were originally just broadband customers. Perhaps this is to show less TV customer churn?

What's the alternative? Offer no incentives to new customers when other companes do? Give everyone the offer price which affects profit?

This is normal business practice across the board and has been for many years now, not sure why your getting upset.

More annoyed than upset, and why not? I don't need a flippin expensive telephone line and Virgin have just shown me and many others that they can offer BB without the need for the dreaded phone line, surely something like this could be offered to all.
