Tivo box over heating
 

Hi ours just switched its self off with a message say "your set top box is over heating" but the box feels cool and is well ventilated never seen this before its back on now some kinda software issue?

I've never known a software error cause that, but a few boxes have a hardware fault that causes the message to be displayed in error. See how it goes.
