Re: What microphone to get
This is more of a microphone for singing or PA, but will do a great job for voice overs especially in a noisy environment. It sounds great. I'm waiting for mine to be dispatched. Check out the reviews.
Behringer XM8500 Ultravoice Just noticed that the price has dropped to £15.92, a pound cheaper since I ordered it a couple of days ago. You'll need to buy a XLR cable if you don't already have one. A condenser mic requires phantom power to work, the Behringer XM8500 is a dynamic mic which you just plug into your device and away you go. It's being compared to the Shure SM58 which costs between £80 and £100. Listen from the 4 minute mark for the test. |

I like the look of that ice ball + it has a tripod which is handy just to have it infront of me on the desk.
