As the news is still breaking. He passed away this afternoon. This is tragic news for such a great talent.

RIP George. All l can say is that two great musicians have now gone through Heavens door.

And what makes it worse is, that at Xmas which is a time for peace and love.

Apparently he was found with a chocolate bar up the bum, possibly he was careless with a wispa.

Seriously it is very sad, I never thought much of his music but admired him greatly for his stance on workers rights amongst other things

When l was 20 his music was what l grew up with as he is near enough the same age and l just cannot believe this truly great singer is not with us anymore this morning.:(
