Brazilian football team's plane crashes in Colombia killing 75

A plane carrying 81 people, including a top Brazilian football team, has crashed on its approach to the city of Medellin in Colombia. Only 5 survived.

Early reports say electrical and fuel issues, there where thunderstorms in the area which was mountainous.

I worked for TNT AMS and we looked after BAe-146s they are a very sturdy plane, in fact two now belong to the RAF.

I hope the club can survive in the same way as the Munich air crash which hit ManU in 1958

The team that was to have played have offered to concede the match so the team that has lost players wins.

Other teams in Brazil have offered free loans and called that they are immune from relegation for 3 years

Seems like they ran out of fuel.
