Cold Feet box set
 

Endured seasons 1 - 5 very last episode, season 5 episode 4 only to find that it lasted for 48 minutes. Missing nearly a half hour missing. Anyone know what happened to the missing section and how can we view it?

It looks like the episodes aren't all the same length. I've just checked S5E4 and 48 minutes seems to be correct. It plays right through to the closing credits so it isn't finishing early. Does the ending not make sense? (I'm not inclined to watch it all the way through, though I might watch some of the old ones because they used to film it in my office ;))

This was the last episode before season 6 started 13 years later. Don't want to spoilt it for anyone who hasn't seen or knows the story line. These events are all in the missing 28 minutes.

Sorry, but why do you think 28 minutes are missing?

Amazon say it is only 46 minutes long.

Seen the series years ago and there are too many missing parts ( do not want to spoil for those who haven't seen it) that would cause confusion when starting season 6. Major parts missing.
Also IMDB has the episode at 1 hour 16 minutes.

The four S5 episodes were broadcast in a Sunday night timeslot from 9 p.m. to 10.35 p.m.

The four 72-minute episodes were reconfigured into six quasi-episodes of varying lengths for DVD.
