Very sad to hear of his passing as l remember vividly his great song from the 80's and his distinct and different style.:(

I can't believe it's been 10 years since he starred on Big Brother!

This explains why he didn't appear on Loose Women today as advertised.

If he was on benefits he would probably have been sanctioned for such behaviour!

Not really the platform for a **** joke.

Pete Burns, in his later years was a bit of a curiosity.

But Pete Burns in Liverpool in the early 80's was a fore runner that pre-dated the likes of Boy George and Marilyn.

Re: Pete Burns dies

I have a friend who knew him for 33 years and i've known people who have met him through personal appearances.

If I were to elaborate on this, this is what would be inappropriate as opposed to the couple of light-hearted comments.

He did have a sick sense of humour, so I'm sure he won't be too bothered.

I speak as though he isn't 'dead' as I believe that the soul lives on.

Perhaps that's the way Pete saw it too when he re-named the Band?

RIP.

I did find it odd that no reference was made about his death and subsequent inability to appear on yesterday's programme.

Having just looked at todays programme on the ITV Hub, however, they started the show with a tribute and mentioned that he was due to appear with them the previous day.

Didn't know the relationship with his wife had ended and that he had gone with another man (that relationship ended too) "Gay relationships are a commercial break, not the whole movie".

Boy George is paying for the funeral as he died penniless!!!

It wouldn't be appropriate to say anything more in a RIP thread other than to say that they are both peas from the same pod.
