Is 80/82% signal strength ok?

After having problems being able to set recordings yesterday and some channels coming up as unavailable, I did a diagnostics check.

It shows the signal strength as constantly alternating between 80 & 82%.

Is this normal, or could this be the cause of my extra problems yesterday?

I'd say that should be absolutely fine still.

Thanks Stephen. Do you think the fact that the signal strength is constantly changing could be a sign of a problem?

That's absolutely normal. The box can cope with a huge range of signal levels; far more than that.

If you have a fault, report the symptoms, and let the agent do the diagnostics.

Take it you're asleep and unable to contribute anything of worth.

The signal strength you are reading from within the diagnostic page is not relevant to gauge if your product is within specification.
