Can't block spam email

I keep getting spam email apparently from a particular address despite having blocked this quite a few times now. Presumably the address being displayed is not the real sender so is there any way to identify and successfully block the real sender or do I just have to live with this?

TIA as always. :tu:

Try looking at the source email (Control U in Thunderbird) This will contain the true source addy rather than the one reported by the mail client. 'Fraid theres a lot of stuff in the header to trawl through but should give you some useful clues.

I did what you suggested, found a few possible sources and blocked them. Since then I've had no more spam mails from the 'original address'. :tu:

Glad I was able to suggest something useful. Opening up the hood and looking at the oily bits sometimes pays dividends. :)
