Poor internet conection
 
My internet connection keeps dropping off to either very low to no connection at all. I've tried all the usual 'turn off the router for a few minutes' to reboot it but it makes no difference. Because of the pathetic short cable I'm limited to where I can move the router to. Anyone got any suggestions? I'm wondering if the router is at fault? I only have a tablet and mobile so unable to try using an ethernet connection.

which model of SH do you have? could you post power levels downstream and upstream via web address 192.168.0.1

Not sure what model it is,just says 'superhub 2' on it. As for other things you mentioned I have no idea what or how that is ! I'm not at all technically minded.

SH2 are not bad.

open > http://192.168.0.1/

router status

downstream

upstream

operational configuration

network log (remove the MAC addresses before posting)

guide here only use http://192.168.0.1/

Couldn't really understand it properly. Think I'll just ring virgin and see if they can do something at their end or send someone out!
