I started reading it and stopped because I know what they are getting at and it is super easy. Forget changing any settings on your console, all you need to do is put the console in the dmz which is a setting you change in your router. It is easy to do but you haven't said which router you have got and I don't know whether it is feature of the shub. If you have got a proper router you can do it and I would suggest you change your dns settings while you are at it as well to 8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.220 just to cover your bases.

it has been an issue for years with various consoles and there have been numerous posts about it on this forum just like yours seeking assistance. As far as I can remember, each of them were from users using shubs and not proper routers so my guess is that you have got a shub as well. If you think about how many hours and how much enjoyment you get out of using your ps4 and do a cost/benefit analysis, it is worth the £££ for you to buy a proper router.
