iplayer smart TV problems

Ive noticed quite a bit of freezing on the iplayer on my smart TV recently, which i havent had until recently. I have changed from wireless to wired connection but seems to have made little difference.
Is anyone else having similar problems?
It generally seems a bit slower than normal too.

I am in M32 and have just ordered the new superhub and speed upgrade to 150MB, would these improve things or could it be a bigger issue?

the new vans have intercepted your signal and detected that you haven't got a tv license.

given your "M" postcode I am guessing it is Manchester. Manchester is notorious for congestion issues and if/when they have network faults which result in loss of service to an area and they re-route the traffic, it just kills half the city.
