RIP Mr Wilder - you brought happiness and joy to a lot of people with your films.

My favourites were Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles.

Willy Wonka was one of the first films where a character really stuck in my head. So many good films so many folks you made laugh and smile, you touched so many in such a good way.

Fondly remember hin in Young Frankenstein and utterly hilarious as the "Waco Kid" in Blazing Saddles.

RIP Gene and thank you for the laughs.

Sad to see that Hedley Lemar (Harvey Korman) and sheriff Bart (Cleavon Little) are also RIP.
