No Mans Sky

So who has bookmarked this and who will be playing it?

Liked the idea but became a bit disinterested as gameplay videos made the rounds. Elite is naturally the better made game with a good team around it. This is essentially indie and whilst I like all the ideas about it I just feel on the fence. These types of games are unforgiving with time too, if you have Elite there's no way you're going to be balance both.

Likely end up grabbing a cheap key for Steam and seeing which I like more. NMS could do well with the ship exiting and having more exploration options than Elite though.

I have Elite D paid £90 in total for the addons and beta and never got beyond the first station

Originally frustrated me with a steep learning curve, spent more time browsing guides for trading and combat. Once I got to grips with that I started enjoying it.

Yeah this is what has annoyed me I took off and tried to land but the game isn't fair as bumped the station a couple of times next thing boom getting shot at.

I have played the other Elite games so not sure why I've never had the time to get to grips with this one. shame really I rushed into the beta and never played it. I do plan on giving it another go though

Steam refunded after I stupidly bought it at launch.

I don't know whether to blame Sony for way over hyping this game or Sean Murray for blatantly lying and creating this absolute apocalyptic disaster of a 'game'

A release like this makes EA games look like saints.

For those whom haven't bought it and are wondering why this game is being slammed by players. Pick one of a hundred reasons starting with the more serious which is the majority of stuff said to be in the game just isn't. Or the clearly blatant fact that the game shown at E3 this year was something completely different because this release plays and looks nothing like it. Those same gameplay videos are still on the steam store despite this.

Thank god games like Elite and Star Citizen are active with their community and have both developed great games. This is another note to avoid putting faith in some bloke that's making claims he couldn't deliver on. Lying about features though is an entirely different ball game.

People requesting answers to the massive issues, if they get somewhere with him that thread will update, I wouldn't hold my breath though, the guy spent the entire launch day tweeting about how many people were playing rather than answer the thousands of questions that niffed off people had regarding the game.

ASA launches Investigation of this sham of a game. Enough complaints were raised to warrant an investigation. This is on top of several lawsuits in the early stage against developer 'Hello Games'

Isn't going that well is it.

This from above, is actually now landing them in trouble.

Gotta love how Sony just avoid any of this despite funding the entire PR campaign.
