How does my connection look?

Re: How does my connection look?
That bit on the right is what I usually get on switch on... and they can't find the cause of it after over a year!

Re: How does my connection look?
What were YOU doing during those blob times? That's important to know.

Re: How does my connection look?
Your downstream power levels are fine. On the button. I don't know what your upstream levels normally are. If you are on the 22 dB tap, then I'd imagine it normally to be around 50 dBmv. So taking you down to 15 dB might be benficial in the long run but then a 3 dB Forward Path Attenuator would be advisable, imo.
If the upstream power level goes to 54 dBmv, then in conjunction with the red on the BQM, it seems to me that there is noise on the upstream. If both Tivo and Internet stop working, that confirms a circuit issue. The noise has to be removed. |
