Obfuscation protocol
 
Ive been using this for a while on peer to peer as it is supposed to help hide traffic from ISP if they traffic shape peer to peer as VM does but slows down connection

Now im using a VPN which hides all traffic can i do away with this protocol?

Yes. Your VPN obfucates you as well.
