So Much For Customer Loyalty
Last December I got my free BB upgrade from 100mb to 150mb.
This month my loyalty discount ended so at the end of May I phoned CS to sort something out and thought I had got the same deal as I had before. But checking this months bill online I found I've been conned! My Free 50mb upgrade as been removed and I'm back down to 100mb. I wasn't told I would loose the extra 50mb So I spoke to CS and all I got was "You changed your contract and you had 14 days to cancel, there is nothing that can be done to add it back on and if I want to cancel it will cost £200" Ok I didn't read the contract I took it that if the person I spoke to said "Everything will be just the same" I take it to mean that. I've just checked on VM site and I can get https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2016/07/19.jpg I Have Multi Talk 75 Talk Evenings & Weekends Caller display TV Large Vivid 100 Cost £49.85 less Loyalty Discount £5.00 = £44.85 + £17.99 Line rental. As far as I can tell all my phone items are the same as "Talk More Evenings & Weekends". So my "Loyalty Discount" is 15p |
Re: So Much For Customer Loyalty
It takes a wizard to understand VM's pricing strategy. Drop one thing and the price often goes up....

Re: So Much For Customer Loyalty
What has caller display got to do with it? it's only about £1.75 a month?
On another note when I was on the old premier package I called them as was about 2 years out of contract paying a higher price for the current same bundle. they offered to move me to 200mb BB and inc sky movies with my XL package. As I told them that the £80 a month was too much and was actually going to drop down in packages but they did a deal and said this would be better dropping my package price down to £60 a month. They said that this deal would last for 9 months and to call up as it comes to running out and they will be able to do another deal. it wasn't till the contract came through and it was over a month later I noticed it go to £97 a month after 9 months that I called them up and explained that I originally called to say I couldn't afford the £80 a month and was going to drop down in price by changing my package and they offered me this current package at £60 a month and to call in 9 months when it ran out to get another deal. I told them that they never mentioned that the price would go upto £97 a month and it would be for 18 months so I feel that I have been misled by the customer service person on the phone and they would have the call recorded. I was told not to worrry about the contract and to call in the stated time as originally said and they would be able to do a deal...it runs out in October this year so lets see how this one goes |
