What satelite TV service do I use to get foreign TV channels?

I knew a guy a long time ago, he had some special satelite tv service which got him loads of tv channels including foreign ones. I don't know the name of this service, he said he could even get porn 24 hours a day. I dont really need the porn, but i need to know the name of this service.

If you are not familiar with this service can you just give me a list of tv service providers other than

VirginMedia
Sky
BT
(other than freeview/freesat/youview/)

Thank you.

There are many free channels available via satellite. Look for the channels you want on a website like Lyngsat, & then an independent satellite dealer should be able to oblige with the right dish & equipment.

The service you are describing was more than likely a non-UK service, & was used (possibly without the providers consent) with imported viewing cards registered to a non-UK address.
