Calls for Juncker to resign.....
It seems the EU wants rid of Juncker after Brexit. It seems brave little Englanders/Welsh voters have changed the world for the better once again.
I see a massively reformed , healthy successful Europe in the future looking to the UK for guidance and advice. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articl...er-brexit-vote |
Re: Calls for Juncker to resign.....
I'd always hoped for an outbreak of common sense leading up to or following the referendum but still won't be holding my breath. Such is the extent to which these Eurocrats are out of touch. It's now up to the elected leaders of the member nations to remind the likes of Juncker who they work for and what's expected of them. Let's be honest here - the EU has lurched from mismanaged crisis to mismanaged crisis and still nothing has been done by those who have the power to reign in the single state nonsense of Juncker and the other suits in Brussels. The chips are well and truly down and if they can't now see what needs to be done then why oh why would we be better off remaining part of such a shortsighted/flawed/dysfunctional group? Success can be salvaged from this mess but only if the EU once and for all turns its back on those obsessed with a single state, removes the proponents of it and starts to behave like the cohesive, trading block it should have been.

Re: Calls for Juncker to resign.....
So because you think the EU's refusal to reform is being laid at Junkers doorstep means the EU will ask the UK for guidance.
Dream on. Or ask Angela Merkel. |

Re: Calls for Juncker to resign.....
If the SNP had a referendum now they'd lose and they know it. It's just more of the same tired old Salmond-style bluster from Sturgeon that makes them feel important and satisfies those Scots who've long ago had a common sense bypass. Some very important chickens are going to be coming home to roost in Edinburgh soon and when they do it'll dawn on the electorate there that independence isn't going to be the panacea they've been sold.

Re: Calls for Juncker to resign.....
Most Scots already understand independence is not what's best for Scotland but as long as there is an snp there will never be true stability. Junker is not the only one that needs to go for EU reform to be taken seriously and until France and Germany see the disaffection from their citizens there will be no real meaningful reform.

Re: Calls for Juncker to resign.....
Not surprised really as David Cameron's wrong perception of the EU referendum situation has misled a lot of people in the EU.
Just hope that the EU does not punish ordinary British people given that they were not involved in any negotiations and that EU leaders have only met the politicians of the UK not any real people. |
