Interesting installation
 

I might be misinterpreting things, but when I was walking a few miles from where I live (south Glasgow) I saw plenty of normal CableTel branded infrastructure on the streets and leading to people's houses, then this.
I have no idea if the current occupants subscribe to Virgin, but I think the siamesed cable looks like the usual stuff, and I don't think I would be happy if there was no protection for the cable entering my property.
(No vested interest, just commenting.)
