Yet again, we the public are effected by weather conditions that hit London, and the rest of the country.

I put this down to several problems.

Authorities don't clean the drains in High Streets or Main Roads, especially under Bridges.

Plus, Houses now have Concrete driveways. Our Council has actually banned them, or just One section with grass. W have this.

I live near a large stream, and when its heavy rain, our street floods.

I use a road that goes past football pitches, and it floods all the time, as there is no drainage system.

What do members think ?:)

is this just another rant?

Weather and heavy rain which cause flash flooding cannot be prevented by clearing a few drains.

There is plenty of drainage its just they can't handle that much rain in such a short space of time.
