Cancelling contract
Hypothetically speaking say i was with a provider...lets say vorgin just for example and i was extremely unhappy with the services and had done everything possible to leave but was being told leaving early would result in 6 year mark on my credit history could i change packages which starts up a new contract and then say im unhappy within the 14 days to be released without fees and issues?

Re: cancelling contract
You need to be less hypothetical if you want a valid answer.
The only reason for a mark against your credit rating would be non-payment. Do you think any supplier would take you on again in these circumstances then forgive you and allow you to leave quickly and everything be hunkydory? |
Re: Cancelling contract
There is no non payment, they have been messing me about for months and telling me the only way to leave is a voluntary disconnection which they say causes issues with my credit, im not wanting to leave for the fun of it.

Re: Cancelling contract
Voluntary disconnection does not affect your credit record - only non or late payments will affect it.
If you have been told this, ring up again and ask to discuss this with a supervisor. |
Re: Cancelling contract
I see what you're angling at here. Short answer is no.
You start a new contract and get 14 working days to change your mind. If you change your mind you will revert back to the original terms before the changes were made. So if those terms still had time left on the contract then you won't avoid fees |
