which server for Virgin Mail?

Which server should I use pop.ntlworld.com smtp.ntlworld.com or pop.virginmedia.com and smtp virginmedia.com when using Windows Live Mail?

I used to be able to either of them and I certainly stuck to the ntl one for many years but I seem to recall VM switching over a couple of years. I have just checked my settings and I am using the VM ones now and I only would have changed them if I had to.

Did you have to change the port setting that where used for ntlworld.com for it to work with the vm servers?

Port 25 isn't the current correct setting. For POP it's 995, for IMAP 993 and for SMTP 465

Port 25 is still currently allowed to work when you're on your home broadband connection. It won't work when you're not on a Virgin Media home connection.

However the ports have been the ones I've posted since the Google migration and the recent move off Google

Definitely don't use 25, it's insecure. SSL all the way.
