Halal horror house as undercover video exposes cruel abattoir

I find this item totally shocking, and this is why, l don't go into Halal shops. Totally shocking footage of undercover filming.

We are supposed to be a country, that are friendly towards animals. But watching this footage, makes me physically sick.

When animals go into the slaughterhouses. They can smell death, but to see animals slaughtered in this manner

If this is what happens to Halal, then you can stick it.:mad::mad:

A lot of people would disagree with you on that. Vegetarian for 40 years and still surviving somehow.

And how easy is it to grow Soya and Lentils all over the UK? What do you do with the unsuitable fields? Milk and dairy products would disappear "overnight".

I am sure that non halal meat , the animals are stunned first so they are not 'awake'.

I find halal killing worse.

If halal and kosher slaughter was as humane, then they wouldn't need exemptions from the EU rules on slaughter.

I'm sure being electrocuted and then having their throats slit doesn't hurt a tad, as they don't feel pain the way we do...

Wouldn't presume to tell anybody what to eat, but those that consume meat should see the animals being slaughtered. At the end of the day not much different to Halal.

I don't care..as long as they are despatched as humanely as possible I will still be an omnivore.

And why do they get an exemption?

Incidentally, by law in most cases, AFAIK, halal and kosher meat is only for consumption by jews and muslims. So why is it appearing in schools, colleges, restaurants and supermarkets? Usually not marked as such?

And it is not mandatory for muslims as they can "eat whatever is available if halal meat is not available".
