Enfield internet max speed?
 

Hi I'm on the 120mb service from Virgin in the enfield area. It should be 200 meg should it not? I'm sure there was a free speed upgrade available about a year ago. But when I log into my account it just says your speed upgrade is coming between july and september, doesnt say what to. Can someone confirm what is the maximum speed in the enfield area?

the max speed available in your area is 152mbits. VM announced the upgrade to 200mbits last year but as with all upgrades, it is a phased rollout which takes time and everyone is not upgraded all at the same time. The speed increase will available when the speed checker says it is available (probably early July in your case) and at that point you will be notified by email and your myvirginmedia account home page will display a message reflecting this and offer you the option to upgrade your tier for free. When you click accept the upgrade will normally be processed within 48 hours and your shub will automatically reboot over night to download the new config file.

200 will be avalible, you just have to speak to retentions

When I log into my virgin media it says Hold on tightYour speed boost is almost ready!
Your connection speed will increase from up to 120Mbps to up to 200Mbps. It's all thanks to DOCSIS® 3 - the magic in our cables.

Your speed boost will be ready by the end of September 2016.

Can someone else in Enfield confirm this? Why am I on 120 meg when the max speed in the area should be at least 150 or 200 .. is this the case for everybody or is it just me?

the max speed currently available in your area is 152mbits which is the highest tier and that is the tier which is going to receive the free upgrade to 200mbits later in the year. You should have been upgraded from 120 to 152 last year and like Pip said, you need to ring retentions because you have been missed out for some reason. They can put it through straight away.
