I am putting this thread on, after reading this shocking news article.

We have heard over recent years of people saying that the police, don't do this or that. And we never see them.

And what they have to put up with on our street. And how they criticised, about there actions.

So they put the lives on the line for US.

They deserve and get my total support

Having been on the receiving end of an axe attack and knowing how terrifying they are I hope the officers involved recover quickly, sadly at least one appears to have life changing injuries.

I hope they all recover quickly, and the assailant is charged with all appropriate crimes.

btw, Arthur, no one body is above reproach - if someone does something wrong, they don't get a free pass just because they are a squaddie, a policeman, a medic, etc.; we all appreciate what these (and others) do for us and society, but they are not all angels.

Exactly, there's good and bad in the police etc.
