Nope I was wrong. Didn't watch the broadcast from the start. Went back and watched the first part of the broadcast this morning. It was blocky on SKY for maybe the first 45 mins.

Cheers Chad, I can assume it was the signal from BoxNation then.
I am starting to feel with the live coverage they do that the channel would be better swallowed up by BT Sports...

I remember the days I'd be all over this kind of story like a dog eating beetroot. Slacking in my old age :D

Cheers for the info.

Some news for boxing fans, Juergen Braehmer v Nathan Cleverly on the 1st October will be broadcast live on SKY Sports 2 and SKY Sports Mix. Great news for boxing fans.

You're welcome :)

Can't help but wonder if Sky Sports Mix, whilst intended to drive up the premium sport channel subscriptions, will have the opposite effect :D

It's a good point. My brother has the XL package with Virgin. He mainly watches football and UFC. He'd been thinking about adding SKY Sports recently until I told him about SKY Sports Mix. He's happy enough now just to stick with the XL package, SKY Sports Mix and whatever is shown on Freeview and Eurosport.

Well, he'll get BT Sport in XL, so with the opportunity to watch Sky Sports programming at no extra cost on SSM along with Eurosport etc he might as well save his Money.
