Virgin Website - log in woes
 

If this has been posted about before, apologies.

Every time I try to log in to the Virgin site, it makes me confirm I'm not a bot by clicking on certain picture types. Then , when I try to select anything like email, profile it makes me log in again. And again. Every time with the picture thing.

Just me?

You're changing your IP address, or browser, or clearing cookies too many times but fwiw I agree the "pix authentication" is an asinine inconvenience!

Please select all pix with Strawberries in the following 72 pictures: Like a bl**dy modernised Rorschach inkblot test - one strawberry (apparently 98% hidden behind a bowl of red apples, a necklace of rasberries on a Hawian dancer from 100yds away on 80x80 GIF, a cherry covered in custard in trifle... and a Beatles album track street name.... fields forever......

Hmm, interesting. My IP should be static - although I'm logging on from work and the servers are in a different country so who knows what could be happening. I haven't actually cleared any cache or cookies for a while. Ho hum, not too big a deal and I'm glad I'm not the only finding the picture thing a little annoying.

I thought I was back in infant's school for a while.

Clear the cookies for all VirginMedia sites. Firefox lets you do this individually, dunno about Chrome.

OR alternatively, open a private browser window and see if you get the same behaviour.
