RealVNC problem
I wonder if any of u guys can help me out here.
I have been using RealVNC for months to connect to anyone of my other computers around my home wirelessly. A week or so ago my ASUS RT-AC66U died a death and i replaced it with an ASUS RT-AC87U. Since the switch i cannot connect to any of my pcs anywhere i get the error "timed out waiting for response from host computer". I have checked and double checked and i know the IP addresses im attemping to connect to are right, does anyone know what could be the issue? Thanks. |
Re: RealVNC problem

Re: RealVNC problem
Yep. I have 3 systems so realVNC came default set at Port 5900 so ive opened 5900, 5901 and 5902. I have also made sure that the IP address matches the ppen port to.
I just dont understand it. |
Re: RealVNC problem
can you ping any of the machines on their ip addresses? as it might just be that your firewalls haven't adjusted to the new router yet.
