Netanyahu caught bribing Republican senators on Iran agreement
 

It appears that some Republican senators may be charged with treason for changing their voting intentions in response to bribes offered by Netanyahu. This is really serious because it involves another nation attempting to undermine US democratic processes.

The bribery attempt was revealed after Netanyahu's communication lines were tapped. No wonder Republican senators didn't want Israel's communications monitored by US security organisations.

So the Americans are wire taping their own senators, that to me would be a more explosive story instead of a bit of political bribing (domestic or foreign) that seems to go hand in hand with most political systems in most countries.

Obama, after the wire-tapping revelations, committed the USA to not spying on its allies. However, Israel is increasingly showing signs of not being an ally. Its attempts to prevent a lasting settlement with Iran indicate that. US intelligence is bound to keep monitoring Israel. If US senators get caught up in that essential monitoring that is their own problem.
