I'm not being silly when I say this looks absolutely dreadful am I? If it wasn't Abrams then it shouldn't have been done.

I hope they have something special to revive this mess already. The music, The shameless director did fast and furious plug and the way it just looks like F&F in space.

Having never been a Star Trek fan or a trekkie so to speak, I enjoyed both Abrams movies even though full trekkies seemed to dislike them. I can't imagine what they think of this then already.

Might as well have Shyamalan doing Bond movies and having 007 battling oddjob who in a massive twist is just an alien from Jupiter but it's alright because 007 was dead all along.

Full blown attempt to turn Star Trek into an Avengers cash cow otherwise there's little to need to have Justin Lin anywhere near this.

Nothing to do with JJ as he was busy with Star Wars.

Its just Fast & Furious with spaceships! Terrible!

Well I guess we'll see what we get, I've seen bad trailers for good films, and good trailers for bad films, so I dont pay too much attention to them.
