Scotland Yard's change of terror tactics
 

Quite a lot of fuss seems to be being made about the Police's decision to concentrate on taking out terrorists engaged in mass shootings before tending to any wounded.

Given how many more dead and wounded there'd inevitably be as a result of any delay in taking them out, I'd have thought this would be common sense and am surprised it wasn't already the policy in such circumstances.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Or the one.

An unwritten rule in extremis.

Same rule as on an aircraft in evacuation: Able bodied go first.

Yes, I think most sane people would agree so why does the media (the BBC was at it this morning) have to present this as in some way a shocking and controversial new policy? :shrug:
