Ofcom just redefined ultrafast for the purposes of their reporting as 300Mb+.

Somewhat awkward until VM release 300Mb.

Did VM ever sell Ultrafast? I thought the previously defined term was "next-gen" or "Superfast" at ~24-30Mbps+ depending on who you asked.

Incidentally the U.S. doesn't define anything below 30Mbps as broadband at all.

I'd guess the definition of "ultrafast" being 300 or more got worked up in the days where 300 or more was an indicator of pure FTTP services. So it could be just as awkward once VM release 300Mb and un-doing that distinction again.

VM advertised it as ultrafast.

Ultrafast was traditionally >= 100Mb

Eh, someone calling itself ultrafast 4 years ago, not exactly a widely-accepted definition.
