Sky sports red button - how to get it?

Hi,

I have the minimum tv package with VM. No premium channels.

There is an event I would like to watch on sky sports red button on Saturday. What are my options? I don't want to watch anything else on sky sports. Just an hour and a half that they have on their red button service in 2 days time.

Thanks.

You have to be a full subscriber to Sky Sports premium channels to get access to their red button service.

Thanks - the minimum subscription is a month I take it?

Are there any services like NowTv where I can access the red button?

Yes it is a month you have to take out Sir for Sky Sports at the very minimum.

On Now TV l don't know if there is access to the red button but other CF members might have a better idea about that.

For a single event I'd be tempted to find one of those less reputable sites that stream TV channels or get a m8 who has that channel to record it to DVD or data stick for me.

It's unlikely the event will be on a dodgy stream, although it's also on Bein Sports so it might be.

I think I will just stump up for a month's subs. If I pay for sky sports HD - does a red button event have HD coverage or is it just SD?

Thanks.
