Minimum rented bedroom size proposed

Local authorities in England could ban rooms smaller than 6.5 sq m from being let as bedrooms in licence applications for multiple occupancy houses.

I am all for it, especially as it means my son's "bedroom" would no longer be classed a bedroom, but as a "boxroom" as they originally called it!

Or would there be a get-out clause? :dunce:

I read this too, wonder how it will affect the bedroom tax, my spare bedroom isn't big enough to put a full sized single bed in.... I'll be watching with interest.
