Netflix Android app and Tivo
 

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this; it's technically not a TV issue.

Anyway, I recently changed my Android phone from a Samsung S3 mini (Android 4.1) to a Vodafone Ultra Smart (Android 5.0). Since the change the Netflix app works on the new phone, but the little icon allowing me to control the Netflix app on my Tivo is not there any more.

The icon appears when I use my Chromecast, but not for the Tivo. It worked on the Samsung and the Tivo is connected to my network using a wireless adapter. (I can use the TVAnywhere app to bring up a remote control and control my Tivo with it).

Is there a step I need to perform to get the phone app to talk to the TiVo, or is it just that my phone is not supported?

My phone and tablet are no longer listing the TiVo as a device to play on too, just my Fire TV. When I start the app I can hear the TiVo hard drive kick in but it doesn't show up. Perhaps they changed something in how they talk to connected devices and the TiVo app now needs an update to work again?

For some reason it has started working again. Not sure what that was all about.

I didn't know I could control my tivo Netflix with my tablet, anybody got a link to more info about this?
