Virgin media multi room
 
Hi I had a lodge who had multi room package on his bill and I had a he box installed up stairs,now he moved out and he has taken the box and the bill has been cancelled,how can I we use the port on the wall and use my box down stairs with out paying for the multi room per month thanks jay :dozey:

In short, you can't. You need an account with Virgin Media to watch their TV service.

But why have you still got a box if it was his account? He could get charged for losing it.

No the box went with him I am on virgin,I have been with them since the days of tele west ,lol just thought it's a waste having the line up,to the room with out using it,thought poss could get a box of eBay and the split the single down in the point were it comes in ,thanks jayn

Unregistered boxes won't work on your cable. Only boxes supplied by VM and then registered to your account will work. Save your money.

Get a video sender or HDMI splitter. No need for more than 1 box anyway.

Get a Chromecast/FireTV.
