Re: power levels!!!
They are within spec for virgin but if it was me i would like a slightly lower downstream.

Re: power levels!!!
Those are all absolutely fine. You can obsess over your power levels but if they work it's all fine.
The difference in SNRs between the channels is a little higher than normal though. If it's lousy all the time you can probably safely say that there's an issue with the signals. If it's only bad at peak times there may be some congestion problems. Any FEC errors reported? |
Re: power levels!!!
cheers for that
yeah they are usually much lower and i get spot on internet until virgin messes in the box over the road, have been told i need to be in the top slots due to being so close to the box, but hey ho look like a call to virgin tomorrow lol @ ignitionet our internet always runs great with minimal issues, but for some reason when virgin does any work to the cabinet over the road we get really bad internet, buffering, ages opening pages, lots of timeouts, usually a call to virgin fixes this with a tech calling out, the work i mean is when they are installing someone or fixing issues for someone. its a standing joke in the house that if we see a virgin van by the cabinet over the road, its usually crap internet all the time until they send a tech out they fiddle in the box and hey presto we can use the internet again, i know this sounds stupid, but its wat happens |
