Asus AC66U Problem
I am attempting to setup a program to download some torrents.
I have set the router to use the ports that the program is set at and it has my PC IP address and using port 80 which is HTTP. For some reason it just refuses to connect. Anyone point me in the right direction here? |
Re: Asus AC66U Problem
If you're using windows firewall ( or any other firewall program) you need to ensure that the torrent client is allowed as an exception. It should happen as part of the client installation but can be checked in settings>security>firewall
IIRC torrents are usually served on port 8080 so you need to ensure that this port is open for traffic. I think if 8080 isn't open then it can default to port 80. |
Re: Asus AC66U Problem
I have made a manual rule in the firewall and still it doesnt wanna know.
Its driving me nuts. I have watched and followed instructions on youtube and what im doing seems right. |
