Issue with Tivo box - switch on box out of standby pink flashing screen
Hi all,
Problem as the title. When I switch my Tivo box on and the tv at the same time, I regularly keep on getting a pink flashing screen which shows no picture. After switching the tv off at the wall and back on again the problem is resolved. It's getting annoying now and shouldn't happen. Anyone else experience this and know any tips to fix it? Many thanks. |

Is this an issue with my TV or TiVo box? TV is made by philips

Check Philips' website to see if there is a firmware update available for the TV

My TiVo box has just started to turn the picture pink. Still have sound and vision but have to restart the box to get rid. Twice in a couple of weeks now.
Anybody else with these symptoms or any ideas? |

I had this for a while last year, had to wait for a software update to fix it.

By the way, you might be able to resolve it by unplugging and reconnecting the HDMI lead rather than restarting the TiVo |
Re: Issue with Tivo box - switch on box out of standby pink flashing screen
Do you always switch the Tivo and TV on in the same order? With the Tivo is it a switch on from standby or a full start from the power being off?
Have you tried a different HDMI lead? It might be useful seeing if a scart lead behaves differently. |

It's not a smart TV.
Will try the hdmi if it happens again though, good idea thanks |
