Using the dedicated TiVo BB socket to use with Freesat.
My V+ box has died. Until I can get a TiVo installed, i've bought a Freesat box and am using my old Sky dish.
This Freesat box (Manhattan) has catch up services available, but it isn't Wifi and needs an Ethernet connection. When my TiVo is installed, could I connect a splitter to to the dedicated TiVo broadband connection to power the Freesat Catch Up services? I know I won't normally use it, but would like the functionality as a back up should I lose VM TV services altogether (as has happened twice.) Thanks. |

The Tivo doesn't have a broadband connection for other services, you would probably need to use homeplugs to connect your freesat box to the hub

Good idea about Homeplugs, think i'll order some as i've seen a TP-Link 500mbps Nano Powerline twin pack for £20. |
