Finding Passwords
Is it possible i can find out what passwords are on my system saved for email addresses as i am unable to find my book i had all the passwords written in.
Im wondering if theres a program available. Thanks. |
Re: Finding Passwords
Yes.. you could download lastpass : https://lastpass.com/
when it instals you can get it to scan the system and harvest all passwords. it does that so it can give you a security score depending on how many duplicate passwords you have etc.. but ignore that for a min and put that to the side.. once it has harvested all the passwords, you can then open the password vault and edit each website/e-mail id etc to change the password.. it will show you the password in the password box if you click ' show password ' ;) |
Re: Finding Passwords
If you're using Thunderbird then: tools/options/security/passwords/savedpasswords/showpasswords
and yes. Which should be protected by a master password if you've set one. |
Re: Finding Passwords
ive installed lastpass it shows passwords for websites but not for email addresses stored in programs.

Take a look at nirsoft, especially here
