Queen's train trip with Sturgeon

The definition of awkward I reckon. Of course the Queen's met and had to entertain all sorts of dubious and obnoxious characters over the years and it's to her eternal credit that she hasn't yet resorted to abuse or violence. Having said that I'm not sure I could have resisted the urge to tell the SNP's latest fantasist what I think of her and her party's ideals.

The Queen ever the diplomat will keep her political views to herself that's for sure no matter what she might think of some of our politicians.

The SNP don't have any ideals. They have a single purpose to break up the UK and will use whatever tricks they can to achieve that. If that means promising everything to everybody then so be it.

Anyway it must annoy them greatly to see a good turnout for her Maj any time she ventures up here. :)

Well, we've all had to share a railway carriage with a raving lunatic at one time or another. It won't do the Queen any harm to see how the other half lives. :D

What if the Queen abdicates at 5.29pm just to wind everyone up?

True but not so many of us have had to entertain and make polite chit chat with them however. ;)

I wish she'd worn a union flag outfit. :)

I can image Phillip saying "Can you smell something fishy, cabbage" :D

cabbage is one of his pet names for her.

I'm sure her Majesty is quite used to having caviar on tap. Oh wait...:D
