Queen's train trip with Sturgeon
The definition of awkward I reckon. Of course the Queen's met and had to entertain all sorts of dubious and obnoxious characters over the years and it's to her eternal credit that she hasn't yet resorted to abuse or violence. Having said that I'm not sure I could have resisted the urge to tell the SNP's latest fantasist what I think of her and her party's ideals.

The Queen ever the diplomat will keep her political views to herself that's for sure no matter what she might think of some of our politicians.

Anyway it must annoy them greatly to see a good turnout for her Maj any time she ventures up here. :) |
Re: Queen's train trip with Sturgeon
Well, we've all had to share a railway carriage with a raving lunatic at one time or another. It won't do the Queen any harm to see how the other half lives. :D

What if the Queen abdicates at 5.29pm just to wind everyone up?

cabbage is one of his pet names for her. |
