TiVO remote having issues controlling TV
 

Hi all,
Just switched from sky to virgin for TV and the virgin TV remote is struggling to switch my TV on and off. Volume and mute work fine - but its just the on/off button which is having problems. The TV is a Philips. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can sort this issue out?

Use the Tv remote to power the tv on and off . it aint a big deal tbh .

1) How are you trying to turn the TV off & on? It needs a long key press.
2) Make sure the TV firmware is up to date - check Philips' website.
3) It may be there is more than one code for the TiVo remote. Keep searching.

Sorted it now thank you - was just a bit different after having sky for a number of years!
