NETGEAR R8000 AC3200 - Any good?

Hi folks,

Thinking of investing in a new router and the R8000 looks to be the top of the range at the moment.

Does anyone currently have one and can share a review?

Thanks

I'm having the same conundrum. My five year old LinkSys 3000 just wont cut it anymore...

I read this, still not sure four teenagers lappys, streaming, gaming etc.

It all depends on many factors.

*what is your Broandband speed
*Is the area that you want to cover large?
*How many 5GHz wifi gadgets you have
*How many wired ethernet sockets you have

The R8000 will be brilliant for a modest area, that does not have thick walls, with many wifi gadgets on 5 GHz (laptops, smartphones etc)

I have a very large area to cover and over 15 5GHz Wifi devices, I have opted for several APs as I have an Ethernet socket in every room
